I did this matte to put some diversity in my portfolio, and of course the challenge. A challenge not only for me, but my computer nagged every brush stroke. The original size is 7000x4300 which pushed me to apply more detail than usual to achieve the photorealistic look. I wanted the end result to look like dreamy, serene scene, yet somewhat populated with man's machines roaming about. Simply put, the future co-existance of machine and human.
