I did this matte painting for my own portfolio. Specifically.. I'm painting a series of sci-fi bases. This is the 3rd in the series and probably the last.
This particular base is under construction. It also serves as a hub for the global highway. In the foreground, an ion refueling station and several combat units heading toward the base to report.
Used CS2 and the good ol paint brush.
